I start October travel on October 8th. Count yourself lucky!
That said, I shouldn't 'dis those that try to have a family life and be in this business, so go on then, I'll let you propose 31st Oct/1st Nov.. - :-)

I don't have anything in particular against the week of Oct 15th.
For me personally it would be a challenge to make that, go home and come back again.
I could probably do SF on the 19th though that starts looking like a three week trip for me.
